Fiction Theater Friend of a Raven – S1 E 31
From November 26th 1955 – Friend of a Raven
Tommy, ten years old, is deaf and mute. Nature compensated the
boy by giving him usual powers. He hears
- but not with his ears. Tommy speaks, especially to animals, without a sound coming
from his damaged vocal cords.
When school officials try to force his Dad to enroll him in
school; though outside and far out of the range of the human ear, Tommy knows
what is being said, and runs away.
Fans of the Twilight Zone will notice a familiar face! Barney Phillips has a supporting role in this
episode. The veteran radio and tv actor played
the three-eyed real Martian, in the classic Twilight Zone episode, “Will the Real
Martian Please Stand Up?
