Short Stories with a Long Tail (Short Story Theater)

Hello, I'm Basil Nightingale, the host of Bill Russo's
Short Story Theater and the Ghosts of Cape Cod Podcast.

Join us on I-Tunes, YouTube, I-Heart Radio, Spreaker, and every other major audio-video site on the World Wide Web.

Our tales are short, but they have a long tail which may keep you thinking about them for some time.  Whether you like your audio beverage shaken or stirred, you'll like our servings because every glass has a twist mixed in.

Here's a link to one of our plays, ably performed by the Mighty Allen Art Players.

Let me give you a brief synopsis of
'Murder in the North End".

A 'Contractor' from the North Shore (about 20 miles from the Massachusetts Capital) takes a piece of work in the North End of Boston, reputed to be the center of  organized crime in America.  The target is sitting at a table by herself, in the Victory Casa - an authentic Italian restaurant on Hanover Street, the heart of Little Italy.

She's calmly eating Gnoccis and GiGis. (These 'Paisan' delights will be explained for you in the story)

The contractor is in a hurry to get the job done because he told his wife he'd pick up groceries for dinner at the Gloria Chain Store in Beverly, but it's getting late. Suddenly the target waves him over to her table, where a surprise awaits.  Click the link: https://www.spreaker.com/user/11578348/murder-in-the-north-end
